You have reached the website of the Eastchester Teachers Association (ETA). The ETA Executive Board hopes that you will find the content of the site useful and informative. ETA members may login to the site using the link immediately below the ETA banner. This will provide access to additional resources not available to non-members.

On the site you will find a rich and comprehensive history of the ETA, thoughtfully written by former Eastchester Middle School history teacher and Eastchester Town Historian, Richard Forliano. ETA members will find a many other useful resources on the website, including contact information (email or telephone) for the ETA leadership in the Leadership section. In Member Resources, members will find links to a variety of useful online resources. Check Upcoming Events to find out about Executive Board meetings and other special events the ETA is involved with. Keep up with the latest ETA news by visiting the News section of the site; this page also contains links to NYSUT and AFT news items. On the ETA Trust page, members can find information about the dental, vision, legal, employee assistance and other benefits available through the ETA. The Forms section of the site has downloadable versions of the ETA Trust Forms for these benefits. In Political Action, members will find relevant information on ETA, NYSUT and AFT political actions. The F.A.Q. (Frequently Asked Questions) section of the site you can find answers to questions often asked about the ETA and the Trust Fund. The Examiner is the ETA newsletter; find an online archive of current and past issues on the site. The Professional Development section of the ETA website has links to valuable professional development resources. Members also have access to two online databases: one with SMART Board lessons and one on interactive videoconferences. Members are encouraged to contribute to both the technology integration specialists and building-level technology facilitators can assist with the process.
